Job Description:   **Phlebotomist, Laboratory, Nights, Part Time** **Description** This position handles the collection of blood specimens to the Laboratory in a timely manner to ensure efficient, accurate laboratory testing and patient care. Specimen registration, result retrieval in computer, and the courteous interaction with house staff, other departments and services are also duties of this position. **Qualifications** **Certification:** + Phlebotomy certification preferred. + Effective September 1, 2017,current BLS through theAmerican HeartAssociation, or a previously approved provider, will be required beforeemployment. **Education:** + High School diploma or GED required **Experience:** + Previous phlebotomy experience preferred * For those hired after November 14, 2016, KentuckyOne Health will verify education required by the position, through primary source verification, prior to beginning employment. Education verification will also include the collection of a high school diploma or equivalent, transcript, or other written validation of education. **Job** Laboratory **Primary Location** KENTUCKY-LOUISVILLE-ST.
