Job Description:   **Activity Based Technician-PEDS, Neuroscience Collaborative Center, Days, Full Time** **Description** The Exercise Physiologist (activity based technician) provides a direct supportive role in the delivery of therapy services – primarily in the Activity Based Therapy, Research and Community Fitness and Wellness Programs. **Qualifications** **Education:** Minimum 60 credit hours completion toward degree in exercise science, physiology, or health related field or two years of experience in patient care or research in activity-based therapy or a human locomotor training setting required. Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, kinesiology and basic exercise science preferred. **RequiredExperience:** Six months patient care experience in a health care facility preferred. **Licensure:** None required. Must obtain basic CPR, CITI, and HIPAA certification within 30 days of hire date. **Skills:** Clinical skills include the physical capacity to provide locomotor training. Effective time management. Effective oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required, with PowerPoint preferred. * For those hired after November 14, 2016, KentuckyOne Health will verify education required by the position, through primary source verification, prior to beginning employment.
