The Delivery Technician ensures a positive customer service experience with the proper home delivery and pick up of medications and supplies. **AmeriMed Inc is the provider and employer of choice!** + Flexible schedule + Competitive compensation **Responsibilities** + Delivers medications and supplies to customers, including the provision of emergency after hours service. + Process paperwork thoroughly in accordance with company procedures. + Participates in on-call rotation to provide 24 hour, seven days a week service to customers. + Complies with all appropriate transportation laws. + Serves as a resource person and role model to fellow Delivery Technicians. + As needed, performs general cleaning/maintenance duties of equipment, warehouse and vehicles. + Keeps “clean” and “dirty” equipment separated in vehicle and bags equipment when needed. + Checks vehicle fluid levels on a regular basis and informs supervisor of any problems with the vehicle. + Assumes accountability for demonstrating behaviors consistent with the customer service policy. + Attends and participates in all company training. + Participates in Performance Improvement (PI) Program Coordination; including assisting with the overall development and implementation of the PI plan, assisting in the identification of goals and related patient outcomes, participation and reporting of activities and outcomes, development and implementation of corrective plans. **Qualifications** + High School Diploma or equivalent. + Has a valid Driver’s Licence and meets company standards on driving record. + Meets company standards on criminal and OIG background checks. + Meets company standards on Physical and TB testing. + Accuracy and detail oriented. + Proven ability to read and write English to follow written and oral instructions. + Ability to work on call as needed.
