Job Description:   **Emergency Room Technician, Emergency Department, Nights, Full Time** **Description** This role is responsible for providing care to assigned patients in a caring, safe, and efficient manner under the supervision of an RN. Assists nurses, physicians patients, and families as needed. **Qualifications** High school diploma or GED. BLS required. Effective September 1, 2017, current BLS through the American Heart Association, or a previously approved provider, will be required before employment. CNA certification preferred; may be required for some areas. CNA training course preferred. Previous experience in patient care setting preferred. Emergency experience preferred. * For those hired after November 14, 2016, KentuckyOne Health will verify education required by the position, through primary source verification, prior to beginning employment.
