For more information, visit www.CHIHealth.com Provides management support to plan, organize and lead resources with assigned team members; as well as functioning as an individual contributor within the department. **TEAM LEAD ACCOUNTABILITIES:** **Has the authority to interview, hire, orient, terminate, promote, train and conduct performance evaluations** Assigns day-to-day work activities; directs the functional and technical job performance of team members Allocates and directs staffing needs to meet patient, unit/department and organizational needs and collaborates with others to ensure overall staffing needs are met Manages performance including: setting goals, clarifying job expectations, monitoring performance progress, providing feedback, recognizing performance, developing skills and addressing performance issues related to work and our Commitments using corrective action **FUNCTIONAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:** Provides direct assessments of patient ability to perform standard exercise routines based on patient age, cognitive and physical abilities, and/or developmental needs. Modifies routines to meet specific needs of patient and goals of exercise program Leads exercise and educational classes for outpatients and inpatients using language and materials appropriate for patient age, cognitive and physical abilities, and/or developmental needs. Assists the Medical Director and Operations Director in the development of policy and procedures. **Qualifications** **Experience** **Preferred:** Three years cardiac rehab experience and 2 years ICU/CCU experience or a Masters degree in Exercise Physiology with 1 year experience in cardiac rehab and 1 year ICU/CCU experience. American College of Sports Medicine certification - any level preferred. **Education/Licensure** **Required:** Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Must have a Current Registered Nurse License in Nebraska or Iowa, Nebraska and Iowa are compact states, so license must be held in the state of your residence. **Additional Requirements:** BLS or BLS instructor certification is required upon hire. Acceptable credentialing bodies and certifications include the following: American Red Cross: CPR/AED for the Professional Rescuer, American Safety and Health Institute: CPR, PRO, must say “Professional Level-with AED”, and American Heart Association: Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. **Job** Nursing - RN **Primary Location** IOWA-COUNCIL BLUFFS-MERCY CB **Daily Schedule** 7:30 am to 5pm **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 64 **Weekends Required** Every Other **Req ID:** 2017-R0131421
