Job Description:   **Neurodiagnostic Tech I - Respiratory Therapy Services PRN** **Description** **TheWoodlands Hospital** A primary and secondary care hospital serving North Harris and Montgomery counties. Clinical services include cardiovascular services, diagnostic imaging, women’s services (digital mammography and bone density studies), neurosciences, pediatric care (Newborn and Level II nurseries) and surgery, pathology and pulmonary services, and sleep disorders. Clinical affiliations include The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center’s Radiation Treatment Center, and Texas Children’s Hospital. **Position Summary:** Performs electroneurodiagnostic tests. Performs standard and complex electroencephalograms, evoked potentials, nerve conduction studies and specialized monitoring procedures. Provides education to patients and their families concerning neurodiagnostic testing. The position assists physicians in the diagnosis of diseases and disorders of the brain, central nervous system and peripheral nervous system. **Position Responsibilities:** 1. Perform accurate standard and complex EEG recordings at the bedside and in the laboratory on a routine, emergency and on-call basis to adolescent, adult and elderly patients 2. Attend all hospital required in-services, adhere to departmental and hospital policies and procedures, Participates in hospital and departmental goals and objectives 3. Maintain and clean equipment and laboratory area on a daily basis 4. Assist with delivering reports and transporting patients to and from the laboratory, as needed as well as any other job related duties as assigned 5.
