Job Description:   **WIC COORDINATOR** **Description** **Job Summary** The Women Infant Children (WIC) Coordinator is responsible to oversee all aspects of the WIC Program. The Coordinator is responsible for working with Clearwater, Hubbard, and Lake of the Woods County WIC programs and completing all requirements of the Nutrition Education Plan and programming per the Minnesota Operations Manual. **Job Responsibilities** + _Fulfilling the duties of a Competent Professional Authority as defined in the Operations Manual in a participant centered, culturally sensitive manner._ + _Providing Nutrition education based on the identified needs of the participant_ _and developing and completing the Individual Nutritional Care Plan for high-risk individuals._ + _Developing the nutrition education plan for the Community Health Services (CHS) agencies and ensuring the quality of the programming._ + _Providing all services according to the Operations Manual and completing the Management Evaluation of the WIC programs within the CHS._ + _Overseeing all components of the breastfeeding promotion activities, including the Quality Improvement projects._ + _Assist other WIC staff with their duties, as needed._ **Qualifications** + Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition, dietetics, or related field. + Registered Dietitian with the Commission on Dietetics Registration or registration-eligible within 6 months of employment. + Experience working with nutrition needs of women, infant, and children preferred. + Must have valid MN driver's license. **Job** Human Services **Primary Location** MINNESOTA-PARK RAPIDS-HOME CARE **Daily Schedule** Days/ occasional eve **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 80 **Weekends Required** Occasional **Req ID:** 2017-R0132675
