Job Description:   **Vice President Supply Chain Finance-Analytics** **Description** **Job Summary / Purpose** Primarily responsible for overseeing the supply/service budgeting process across all verticals and markets, totaling $1.9bn in spend. Additionally, leads development of the integrated Supply Chain operating budget in close coordination with senior leadership and finance. Tracks supply chain performance across regions, and engages market leaders with actionable analytics and assists in identifying key opportunities for savings. **Essential Key Job Responsibilities** 1. Oversees the development of annual supply/service budgets and sets savings targets for national and market-level operations, including reviewing demand by business team and geographic region 2. Manages and supports the budgeting process for the Supply Chain organization, including establishing and managing budgeting policies, procedures, and standards which are consistent, robust, and compliant with corporate requirements 3. Leads analytics team in conducting analyses on market, pricing and volume trends by category and vendor base 4. Engages market leaders with actionable analytics and identifies key opportunities for savings 5. Establishes a set of financial and operational metrics which accurately reflect the performance of divisions across products, categories and services 6. Tracks supply chain performance and compliance across regions and identify gaps relative to plan; identify opportunities for improvement 7. Generates actionable reports to be used by Supply Chain leaders in recurring operating reviews with market and CHI leaders **Non-essential Job Responsibilities** 1. Other duties as assigned by management **Qualifications** **Education:** Required Master’s or Post Graduate Degree **Experience:** Required Minimum of 10 years’ experience in discipline and 7 years leadership experience Focuses on skill-building and role modeling at all levels of the organization to ensure a consistent approach to budgeting and analytics Engage other roles and departments when appropriate, including Division leaders Capable of maintaining an independent perspective without losing collaborative nature, trust and respect Possesses leadership courage to make difficult decisions and recommendations when necessary Able to function independently, adapt quickly to changing environments and open to new ideas Minimum ten years of functional expertise with a broad range of understanding of financial tools, processes and organization Strong knowledge of relevant budgeting and planning software, as well as analytical tools Outstanding people manager, with the proven ability to attract and retain best-in-class staff who are inspired by the mission and motivated to deliver excellent results Advanced knowledge of the supply chain and healthcare operations Seasoned business judgment and superior analytical abilities, particularly in strategic business and financial analysis Capability to translate the technical aspects of quality to what it means for the business, both top and bottom line Track record of data-driven decision making, with a thirst for analytics and an ability to incorporate insights from data sources into organizational strategy development Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
