Job Description:   **Biomed Field Service Specialist-I** **Description** Job Summary: This position provides specialized repair (radiology, nuclear medicine, ultrasound, etc.) and maintenance services to diagnostic imaging equipment and biomedical equipment Essential Duties: + Performs repair and maintenance primarily on general imaging equipment, such as X-Ray units, Portable X-ray units, Fluoroscopy Systems, CR units, and Mammography units, Ultrasound systems, etc. + Completes all necessary record keeping for work orders received and finished. + Assists in the ordering of parts and supplies necessary for the most cost effective maintenance of medical imaging equipment. + Provides on-call coverage on a rotating basis and other duties as assigned. + Provides input to the Account Manager regarding new service opportunities within a location serviced by the Clinical Engineering Division and performs other duties as assigned. + May also provide repair and maintenance of general biomedical equipment as secondary responsibility or as assigned. **Qualifications** Education / Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred): + Associate’s Degree in a related field required. + CRES/CBET certification preferred. Experience (required and preferred): + Two years of related experience servicing medical imaging equipment. + Reliable transportation required. + Must be current on technological and medical advances. + Must have current understanding of Joint Commission , 21 CFR and NFPA regulations. + Must have the ability to repair and maintain a wide variety of medical equipment. **Job** Clinical Engineering **Primary Location** ARKANSAS-HOT SPRINGS-ST VINCENT HOT SPRINGS **Daily Schedule** Days **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 80 **Weekends Required** Occasional **Req ID:** 2017-R0129936
