For more information, visit online at PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1) Performs EKGs and signaled averaged EKGs. 2) Applies and removes Holter/event monitors and ambulatory blood pressure monitors. 3) Edits and processes reports. 4) Performs daily maintenance and quality control. 5) Cleans and stocks rooms and carts. 6) Performs preventive maintenance on equipment. Staff member will contact the Biomedical department or OD/manager if equipment is in need of repair. 7) Participates in all safety, security and infection control programs that are mandatory as well as those required and provided by the department. **Qualifications** QUALIFICATIONS: Experience No previous experience necessary. Education/Licensure High school diploma preferred. Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Staff member should have documented knowledge of proper patient preparation and lead placement for ECG’s, Holter monitors and event recorders. They should also have knowledge of the proper use of each type of equipment for the above procedures and the ECG reporting system (MUSE).
