Job Description:   **Monitor Technician - Intensive Care Unit (Nights, 7pm-7am) Full Time** **Description** The monitor technician is responsible to provide continual surveillance of the central telemetry monitor to identify changes in the patient’s cardiac rhythm and to notify appropriate medical and nursing staff. Serves as a liaison between patient/family members and all hospital departments. Monitor Tech acts to identify and resolve problems as expressed by patients and other departments; acts to ensure that each patient receives all services to which he/she is entitled; performs as receptionist and performs general secretarial and clerical duties in the ICU; performs other non-nursing duties which would enhance the visit of the patient in the ICU. **Qualifications** + Previous hospital experience required + EKG Monitoring required + One year of telemetry experience preferred **Job** Allied Health **Primary Location** TEXAS-LAKE JACKSON-BRAZOSPORT REGIONAL HEALTH SYSTEM **Daily Schedule** FTE **Scheduled Hours per 2-week Pay Period** 72 **Weekends Required** Every Other **Req ID:** 1700000486
