Job Description:   **Mercy College - Director of Student Success** **Description** **Job Summary:** The purpose of this position is to lead, plan, and manage activities for the Josephine Norkaitis Student Success Center which supports academic learning, student success, and services for students. **Essential Duties:** + Provides leadership in the philosophy, development, and delivery of comprehensive Student Success Center initiatives including academic advising, accessibility, assessment, counseling, career planning, success resources, student success seminars, and tutoring. + Coordinates disability services ensuring compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA); monitors and evaluates appropriateness of accommodations. Serves as a resource for student disability services. + Supervises the tutoring program including the recruitment, hiring, and training of tutors. + Provides academic enrichment and support to students. Identifies and recommends appropriate services designed to address student needs. + Administers the academic early alert program, assists with the exit processes and prepares applicable reports for assessment. **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Master's Degree in higher education, student services, academic advising, counseling, guidance or psychology. + Minimum four years' experience in higher education. + Minimum two years' supervisory experience.
