Job Description:   **Mercy College - Application Analyst** **Description** **Job Summary:** The purpose of this position is to serve as the liaison between users and technical staff to resolve Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) hardware and software issues, to create reports from ERP systems, and to provide training for these systems. **Essential Duties:** Researches and resolves issues and concerns and makes recommendations for ERP, reporting software and systems to meet user requirements. + Serves as liaison between users, vendors and Information Technology professionals to learn and document requirements and understand software limitations. + Supports the implementation and maintenance of the software and system. Assists with the implementation of new releases, upgrades and patches. + Provides user training for College faculty and staff, including report generation and changes as a result of new releases, upgrades or patches. + Develops and generates standard and ad-hoc reports **Qualifications** **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in management information systems or related field. + Two years experience in application support or development, database analysis and/or business intelligence. + Demonstrated experience writing technical documents. + Demonstrated knowledge of web based applications and supporting technologies. + Strong problem solving and relationship building skills. + Excellent oral and written communication. + Experience in an academic environment preferred. + Experience with Ellucian (Datatel) Collegue R18 SQL, SQL Server Reporting Services, and Crystal Reports preferred.
