Job Description:   **Med Technologist** **Description** Job Summary CHI St. Alexius Health Williston is seeking a full-time medical technologist. Essential Duties: The essential duties of the position involve: Collect and label specimens for analysis. Perform laboratory tests and analysis of specimens collected. Perform quality control, proficiency testing and preventative maintenance of equipment. Follow all OSHA safety guidelines and maintain lab supplies. Attend educational updates and stay current with state or national licensure. Maintains confidentiality of all lab results. Answers phone, faxes, mails, ships specimens. Adapts to change with ease and confidence. Trains new employees for medical technologist positions. Participates in laboratory quality improvement activities.
