Job Description:   **Inventory Technician, Saint Joseph Martin, Days, Full Time** **Description** 1. **Job Summary / JobPurpose** Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping and receiving. Duties are not limited to the supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levels are optimized to support department demands. 1. **Essential Functions** 1. Restocks supplies daily and rotatesinventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generatingorders/requisitions as needed 2. Distributes medical supplies andequipment to patient care areas 3. Monitors par levels for specificproducts to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not toaffect patient care 4. Identifies excess inventory,returning stock and processing credits 5. Notifies supervisor of outdates orslow moving inventory 6. Participates in the put away andvalidation process of perpetual inventory items 7. Issues and credits materials fromthe inventory management system 8. Responsible for labeling bins andhandling requests to change pars 9. Maintains clean and orderly stocklocations 10. Acts as liaison between clinicalstaff and supply chain management as needed 11. Works with and follows instructionsof buyers and Divisional Inventory Coordinator in the event of recalls topull relevant products 12.
