Job Description:   **Inventory Tech, Central Stores, Flaget Memorial Hospital, Days, Part Time** **Description** Duties include management of inventory as it relates to picking products, replenishing, requisitioning, shipping and receiving. Duties are not limited to the supply room, but extend to all areas of the hospital. Responsible for pulling products for cases as assigned. Inventory technician assures that supply areas are organized, maintained, and par levels are optimized to support department demands. 1. Restocks supplies daily and rotates inventory supporting accurate inventory levels, generating orders/requisitions as needed 2. Distributes medical supplies and equipment to patient care areas 3. Monitors par levels for specific products to assure that appropriate levels are established in order not to affect patient care 4. Identifies excess inventory, returning stock and processing credits 5. Notifies supervisor of outdates or slow moving inventory 6. Participates in the put away and validation process of perpetual inventory items 7. Issues and credits materials from the inventory management system 8. Responsible for labeling bins and handling requests to change pars 9. Maintains clean and orderly stock locations 10. Acts as liaison between clinical staff and supply chain management as needed 11. Works with and follows instructions of buyers and Divisional Inventory Coordinator in the event of recalls to pull relevant products 12. Assists in other duties as assigned **Skills,Knowledge or Abilities** . Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, summarizing analysis in reports with minimal supervision Stays on task and meets deadlines Ability to process and present data clearly **LanguageAbility:** Adequate conversational English is required in order that the individual be able to take direction from management, understand how to complete job tasks, communicate adequately with patients and co-workers as necessary, understand and follow safety guidelines, and organizational policies. **ReasoningAbility** **:** **ComputerSkills:** Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Basic knowledge of Lawson system Knowledge of automated ERP systems and processes **Qualifications** **Education /Accreditation / Licensure (required & preferred):** High school graduate, GED, or equivalent **Experience(required and preferred):** Minimum of one (1) year supply chain related experience or other relevant experience preferred * For those hired after November 14, 2016, KentuckyOne Health will verify education required by the position, through primary source verification, prior to beginning employment.
